Innovation

Generation of new finishes and technologies that enhance the durability and resistance of the coating.

Arelite coatings integrate eMiner mineral technology in their core, developed to replace synthetic and petrochemical derivatives with 100% ecological and recyclable bases, creating living surfaces that seal pores and fissures with self-regenerating natural crystals. Pools that last for generations: warm like tropical sand, impermeable to water and chlorine, with a soft and anti-slip touch. This technology reduces the carbon footprint and ensures intact beauty for decades. Arelite is presented as an innovative solution for those looking for a pool coating that combines durability and superior aesthetics. The only 100% mineral, it stands out for its exceptional resistance to the effects of time and continuous use, thanks to its advanced formulation with eminer technology. Arelite incorporates selected raw materials that improve rheology and impermeability, allowing stable color and tone even when exposed to UV radiation, treated water, and daily wear. It offers a safe anti-slip surface that also maintains a pleasant texture that conserves its appearance of'recently applied' year after year. It is ideal for demanding environments like pools, where resistance to chemical agents and weather conditions is crucial to prolong the life of the finish.

eMiner High mineral technology incorporated into the entire arelite range

Arelite International SL presents eMiner, an innovative crystalline technology that impermeabilizes the coating through catalyzed self-repair. eMiner reacts with Portland cement, generating crystals that seal microfissures and pores, similar to the natural process of mineralization. Our internal sealers act as reactive mineral consolidants, promoting catalyzed nanocrystallization for the protection and continuous repair of mineral coatings, concrete structures, and gunite, as well as other mineral bases. This technology allows us to manufacture arelite free of resins and volatile organic compounds. eMiner guarantees durable and self-regenerating impermeabilization for your projects.

The arelite Classic range is a continuous mortar coating vitaminized with mineral compounds that provide beauty and durability. Private pools, Hotels, Beach clubs transform their aquatic spaces recreating tropical oases.

Arelite Classic is the continuous mineral quartz coating designed specifically to create authentic sand pools, recreating the appearance and sensation of a natural beach within the pool, with an integrated tropical aesthetics and a comfortable and safe surface. It is a solution designed for new construction and renovation, conceived as a 'definitive method' due to its resistance, beauty, and proven durability in real work for over a decade. Formulated as dry mortar prepared, arelite Classic is supplied in 25 kg bags and is prepared only with water, achieving a homogeneous and workable mixture for application with a trowel or by machine projection. Its composition is mineral-based and incorporates cements, calcium, clays, quartz aggregates, impermeabilizing compounds, special additives, and natural pigments, allowing for a continuous coating with a mineral character, pleasant touch, and decorative finish. arelite Classic is applied to cement-based supports properly conditioned, such as concrete, hard renders, or gunite, which must be resistant, perfectly cured, and free of dust, paint, or oils, and must be scratched or combed to ensure mechanical anchoring of the coating. For surface preparation, the use of AR4 is indicated, guaranteeing an adequate base for the system's grip and the continuity of the final finish. In terms of implementation, the technical datasheet indicates adding 3.5 L of water per 25 kg bag, mixing manually or mechanically, letting it rest for 5 minutes, and re-massing before applying. It can be projected by machine in a single layer or applied by hand with a damp support in two layers, performing the final finish with a trowel and leaving a 'burnt smooth', maintaining humidity with vaporizers and possibly using a foam roller to homogenize the finish. In the Classic Natur finish, the system is 'washed and deactivated' on the same day, while in the Polish finishes, polishing with diamond discs is allowed for a finer and softer result to the touch, elevating the premium sensation without losing the coating's continuity. The result is a continuous quartz surface that combines organic aesthetics with technical performances oriented towards durability: the datasheet declares compression resistance at 28 days of 38 N/mm², flexural resistance at 28 days greater than 8 N/mm², fire reaction Euroclass A1, granulometry less than 1 mm, and working thicknesses between 5 and 20 mm, with an estimated yield of 24 kg/m² for 10 mm thickness. Its approximate paste life is 60 minutes, facilitating workability in normal conditions, and application precautions are specified to ensure an optimal result (do not apply with risk of frost or rain, nor below 5 °C or above 35 °C, and respect the minimum recommended thickness). arelite Classic is aimed at projects where something more than a traditional pool is sought: tropical and themed pools, integrated beaches, lagoon-type areas, spas, and fountains, and even applications where it is required to recreate landscapes with a sand effect, achieving a high-impact natural aesthetic with a continuous mineral system. Due to its concept, its finishes (Natur and Polish), and its formulation, arelite Classic positions itself as a reference solution for those who want to transform a pool into a realistic 'beach' experience, comfortable and long-lasting.

The Arelite® Polish range is a continuous coating of quartz and marble mortar, vitamin-enriched with mineral compounds that provide beauty and durability.
With a soft texture, anti-slip, it stands out for its elegance, harmonizing the aquatic environment personally.

Arelite® Polish is the premium finish within the Arelite® system for sand pools, created for those seeking a more refined aesthetic and a silkier sensation to the touch without renouncing the mineral character of the coating or its anti-slip safety. It is a continuous coating based on quartz and marble, conceived after years of R&D as a resistant and durable solution to recreate tropical pools with a high decoration result. The Polish reference stands out for its finer finish: the coating allows polishing to achieve a smoother and more uniform finish, with an elegant visual presence and "crystalline waters with captivating reflections", ideal for projects where design and discreet luxury make a difference. This line is integrated within Arelite®'s "premium finishes" for high decoration, with continuous coatings of a silky touch and anti-slip character, designed for sand pools and high-quality themed spaces.
In construction, the differential value of Arelite® Polish lies in the finishing process: the coating is polished to refine the texture and touch, achieving a more refined, smoother, and visually more elegant continuous surface, maintaining the concept of an "exceptional natural product" for sand and themed pools. The final result is a pool with a beach image, but with a more contemporary and exclusive architectural reading, aligned with high external decoration and the objective of durability "tested in real construction for over a decade".

The Arelite® Marfe range is a continuous coating of marble mortar, vitamin-enriched with mineral compounds that provide beauty and durability.
Pools with premium finish aspirations find an exceptional aesthetic solution in Marfe.

Arelite® Marfe continuous coatings for premium deluxe pools. Arelite® Marfe is a reference for premium white finishes designed to transform traditional pools (both new construction and renovation) into high decoration pools, providing a cleaner, more luminous, and exclusive appearance. It is presented as a "pure white" or pigmented with "excellent softness" and is offered oriented towards a finer and more uniform result typical of Premium and Deluxe projects. Marfe is used when the goal is to make a qualitative leap from usual solutions like gresite or other coatings, achieving a contemporary aesthetic of a continuous vessel and visually more crystalline water, with especially attractive reflections in white tones. Within the brand's positioning, it is framed in a line of "continuous coatings" for high decoration, with premium finishes of a silky touch and anti-slip character. In renovation, Arelite® Marfe fits as an ideal solution to update existing pools, including specific rehabilitation actions mentioned by the brand itself (for example, the repair/renovation of microcement pools). In new construction, it allows projecting from the outset a pool with a more "deluxe" language: an absolute pure white and a polished finish like Polish, seeking visual uniformity and a more sophisticated finish.

FAQs for professionals

Quick answers for prescription, sales, and execution

1. What is Arelite® and what type of pools is it used for?

Arelite® is a continuous mineral coating system designed for the construction and transformation of pools, creating high-end decorative finishes. It is used for both sand pools ("beach" aesthetics) and to elevate traditional pools (for example, replacing gresite or other finishes) to a Premium/Deluxe level with continuous and more elegant surfaces.

2. What is the difference between arelite® Classic and arelite® Polish?

arelite® Classic is oriented towards a more organic effect like sand/beach, with natural texture and appearance. arelite® Polish, on the other hand, focuses on a finer and more silky finish, with a more “premium” and uniform look thanks to the polished finishing process, ideal when a more elegant and sophisticated result is sought

3. What is arelite® Marfe and when is it convenient to choose it?

arelite® Marfe is a premium finish reference, white or pigmented, designed for Deluxe projects, especially indicated for transforming traditional pools (new construction or renovation) into high-decorative pools. It is the suitable choice when the objective is a pure white and a refined finish in a traditional pool

4. What maintenance does a pool with arelite® coating require?

The maintenance is similar to that of a high-end pool: control of the chemical balance of the water, periodic cleaning and prevention of incrustations or persistent dirt. Maintaining the pH and disinfectant within the recommended ranges and performing regular cleanings helps to preserve the appearance of the finish and extend its aesthetic condition

5. Can arelite® be applied to renovations of existing pools?

Yes. arelite® is presented as a very suitable solution for rehabilitation and renovation, especially when you want to update the aesthetics of an old pool or replace an existing finish with a continuous surface of higher visual quality. As with any system, the key is in the correct preparation of the support and in executing the process following the system's prescriptions

6. What advantages does a continuous coating offer compared to gresite?

A continuous coating eliminates the joint grid and creates a visually more uniform surface, which elevates the aesthetics and provides a more “architectural” and premium sensation. In renovations, this change is often perceived as a complete transformation of the pool, especially in light colors and polished finishes

7. Can it be used in saltwater chlorination pools?

Yes, as long as the water is correctly balanced and maintenance is constant, as with any pool with a premium decorative finish. The key is not only the system but also maintaining pH, disinfectant, and hardness within the recommended ranges to avoid incrustations, veils, or aesthetic degradation

8. What differential advantage does arelite offer over time?

A more stable and “noble” aesthetics for the exterior, with a continuous mineral appearance that maintains the decorative value of the pool and reinforces the sensation of a premium product. Guaranteed durability without degradation for decades

9. What advantage does arelite have in aesthetic aging compared to resins?

With resins, so-called "bio", the aesthetics and resistance depend on the final layer (gloss, texture, and color) and can change with micro-scratches, wear, or surface degradation. A mineral finish usually ages in a more “noble” and natural way: if there is use, the material reading continues to be mineral, not “plastic”.
Arelite® does not degrade, does not yellow, does not have volatile compounds, does not contaminate the aquatic environment, and is not harmful to the environment or health

10. Are bioresins “better” because they are more ecological than arelite®?

The so-called bioresins are actually petrochemical derivatives, with a high load of volatile organic compounds, versus arelite which is 100% mineral, they are not better because they are ecological because simply they are not
